However, Yulia refused to pick up the call.

Skylar showed up at Yulia’s home after half an hour.
“Who is it?” Yulia asked cautiously.

Yulia was relieved to find out it was Skylar, but she coldly questioned him, “Aren’t you supposed to be
busy? What are you doing here then?”
However, before Skylar could explain, Lola yelled, “You’re a bad person, daddy! You married another
lady and you don’t want mommy and I anymore!”
Skylar was speechless when he heard that, so he frantically explained, “You misunderstood me, Lola.
Look, the lady in the video is my sister, Naomi… Please open the door, Yulia, I promise that I can explain

Lola frantically shook her head as she sobbed.
It hurt Yulia to see her like this as she did not expect such a young child would know all of this. It seemed
the video had affected Lola more than she expected. This only made her hate Skylar

He pondered for a moment and understood that they were still mad at him, so he said, “Lola, I promise
that I won’t end up like your friend’s father. Since you don’t want to see me now, I’ll come back tomorrow
then.”
After Skylar left, a familiar silhouette could be seen from the dimly lit stairwell. It was none other than
